How is the audio on Golfinger UE

Sorry to ask but every review I read seems to focus more on the picture quality and just makes blanket statements about the sound on the UE releases.

Can someone familiar with the SE who also owns a copy of Goldfinger UE talk specifically about the audio for both the mono and the stereo tracks? Is the UE a siginificant improvement?

Thanks

I never watched Goldfinger really until I got the UE so I have nothing for comparison, but I thought it was fantastic. IMO.

The UE soundtrack of Goldfinger, as well as Dr No and From Russia With Love. is basically mono spread across the tracks. Separate audio tracks for dialogue, music and effects were not available for the first three films in the Bond series, unlike the later mono titles such as OHMSS and Who Only Lives Twice, where true stereo is used on the UEs and which sound excellent.
