Yeah. Paramount needs to do re-releases of their non-anamorphic shit before they start re-releasing movies like Summer School...and this is coming from someone who will buy this.

A commentary will be nice, hopefully.

What happened to the good old days when DVDs were labeled as Special Editions or Collector's Edition?

What a strange choice for SE treatment. I can't imagine this has been a big seller for them. Like everyone else here, I'm a fan of the film and will most likely double-dip, but I still find it really strange considering that they have big titles like 48 Hrs., Coming to America and Days of Thunder that are still non-anamorphic, and ones like Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Chinatown and Braveheart that are crying out for the full SCE treatment.

I wonder if they'll use a new transfer. The 2004 transfer was just so-so. I love this movie. I think it's one of the best (if not the single best) "laidback, feel good" comedy, I've ever seen. I know those phrases are thrown around a lot, but this movie truly is "laidback and feel good". It may sound like I'm overrating it. I don't know, there's just something about this movie, for me personally.

WTF?! Talk about a cover that has NOTHING to do with the movie! Bikini Xing?

Way to tart up an otherwise nice little summer comedy.

If you Google image search "margarita," (under large images, on the first page) you can find the original image of that margarita glass that the hack graphic designer stuck in the fake Mark Harmon hand.

I know, because I am a hack graphic designer myself, and use the same pic. However, I use it when making drink menus for hole-in-the-wall restaurants that will be out of business in 3 months, not covers for product for multi-billion dollar media empires.

Perhaps someone's nephew was temping on school break and they didn't have the heart to tell him.
