The Last King of Scotland - Details

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment have revealed some details for The Last King of Scotland. Look for the acclaimed drama to arrive to DVD in separate anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen editions, each with Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Bonus materials will include a director's commentary track, seven deleted scenes, a "Capturing Idi Amin" documentary and more. No street date has been finalized, however. Retail will be $29.98.

This is the artwork for now (it may change):

I thought thedigitalbits said April 3rd.

I hope there's some more extras wise, like some old newsreel footage of Amin.

I'm planning on blind buying this one, but I wish they would have used the poster for the cover art, that looked really nice.

Wow. Three shots of Forest Whitaker on the cover and none of the lead of the movie. Tells you what Oscar buzz does for your career.

I'm betting the cover will be completely redesigned after the big night.

Please go with the orange artwork, Forest was fantastic but James McAvoy was the main character, and did a damn good job on top of that. At least stick him at the bottom on the left...
