WOW. Can't wait for the Kurosawa.

I guess the release of these Kurosawa's were inevitable, but having already bought I Live In Fear, The Idiot, and Scandal, I'll likely be skipping this set.

This is a very interesting choice to say the least. As far as I know this particular piece is rumored to be in terrible condition. Did Criterion did their own restoration on this one or are they borrowing someone else's print?

Anyone know what shape the print was in on the LD Lubitch Touch box set? The set usually sells for more than $250 on ebay so I've never been able to get my hands on it.

This'll make a nice companion to the "Lubitsch in Berlin" boxset Kino's releasing next month.

I have my eye on that Kurosawa set.

Hubba-Hubba... I've seen One Hour With You on local TV (TVO) a few years back and I taped it. It was in excellent condition. The other films are the stuff of legend...
