http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releas...-affairs3.html

did a search and i got nothing

looks like theyre milking the departed really good. even the cover (except the colors) looks like the departed posters with the gun thing.

The Weinsteins have owned the rights to this trilogy for at least 3 years now and they finally announce the release of a DVD set exactly one month after I bought the R0 box.

Its being discussed in the Dragon Dynasty thread

Excellent. I only have the original and it was about $5 in a DDD sale.

lol, i don't understand why ppl are always in a hurry to pre-order anything they want...it's not like it's a limited boxset....it will be available for pre-order on every website...just wait. ah well...

it's either this boxset or the R2UK boxset for me...i'll wait and see.

I'll stick to the amazing 8disc Media Asia LE (limited to 3,000)

animatedude 01-05-07 08:54 AM

i think it's very stupid of The Weinsteins to not release this 3 years ago.just count how much millions they've lost in these 3 years.they could've released it 3 years ago and then release another dvd set now....ah well.

Sadly I've never heard of Infernal Affairs until after The Departed was released, so in a way it was a smart move.

But yeah, I just got my set today... kind of disappointed they didnt update the original movies artwork to match the 2nd and 3rd.

Before you buy any of these DVDs, there is a wealth of good information over at this thread:

Infernal Affairs

Good luck finding the set, the only B&M store that carried it in this area was Walmart...Why BB & CC did not carry it is beyond me...

bgmat58 02-25-07 12:13 PM

anyone know anything or have this set...

http://www.amazon.com/Infernal-Affai...?ie=UTF8&s=dvd

has 6 discs so im assuming each movie has an extra disc full of features. any insight would be helpful on this set and if its worth the money...

Mike

They should, since the Departed milked Infernal Affairs really good to exist in the first place.
