I don't even want to come up with a list as I'd rather live in denial.

Fortunately, it's mostly movies ... I have no idea how you folks with seasons and seasons of TV shows plan to watch them all.

I was dreading this thread. I started last night to clean my unwatched dvd pile - first was King Kong. Another 30 or so DVDs to go.

I got my backlog in check early in 2005, but it spun out of control and I still haven't addressed the issue. Buying incredibly less, though, should mean it's taken care of eventually. Free time is another issue, but with fewer titles coming in, it's gonna happen. I'll post a list later.

I'm partially in. My unwatched DVD list would take more hours that there are in a year, or at least the free hours.

So my 2007 vow is to watch all of Star Trek, series and movies. I just sat down and worked out the numbers. Not counting bonus featues, I'm going to have to watch 1.54 hours of Star Trek a day to complete it all. I did about 5 hours yesterday (love TOS), so far so good.

Holy crap! I thought I was bad about buying DVDs and not watching them!

I'm glad this thread came up -- never even had an "unwatched DVD pile" before now (except for a bunch of $1/FREE DVDs I picked up but pretty much knew I wouldn't like), since I'd always try to sit down and watch what I bought soon after buying it, often mutiple times. After buying a few more TV season sets, the number of DVDs I haven't actually watched has definitely grown. Of course I have the 14-DVD Monty Python set and two seasons of Seinfeld, neither of which took me all that long to watch, but I guess there's only so much of Knight Rider, Airwolf, Blue Thunder, DINOSAURS, and Sanford & Son that I can take. ;) I'll try to compile a list soon, although I'll stop short of vowing to watch it all this year.

I have an even bigger problem... I try to actually <b>rent</b> TV season sets. Getting through them is pretty difficult with my limited free time, but I don't usually have to watch them by any particular date. Of course I have had the first two discs of <i>House, M.D.</i> for quite a while, which cuts my 3-at-a-time Blockbuster subscription down to 1. Definitely gotta clear that blockage so I can get things moving again.

The only real plans I have for 2007 is to make my way through my Angel, Buffy and X-Files season sets. I've had them all long enough...it's time to start watching.

I am going watch a lot of my unwatched dvds during the Oscar challenge at the end of the month.

I was able to knock quite a few off my list during the holidays, but still have quite a few to get through. I usually manage 1 a week and maybe a TV show or 2. I have been watching all the Northern Exposure series although I originally saw it when it aired on TV. The following list contains the ones from my collection which I have never seen before.
