Even if that's it, those special features will be worth the extra 5 bucks or so that they charge.

Thanks for the info!

Sounds cool, I guess this means no scorsese commentary.

Warner Home Video has announced The Departed which stars Leonardo Dicaprio, Matt Damon, and Jack Nicholson. The Martin Scorsese directed film will be available to own in single ($28.98) and double-disc ($34.99) editions from the 13th February. Each will include a 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, and English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. The only extra on the single-disc will be the theatrical trailer. The two-disc special edition will include that, along with nine additional scenes with introductions by Martin Scorsese, a Story of the Boston Mob featurette, and a Creating Criminal Cultures featurette.

*sigh* Another recent WB 2-disc SE with no commentary. Still, I love the artwork on the 2-discer which I plan to buy.

Hmm...no "Scorsese on Scorsese" listed there. I've wondered when it would come out since it premiered on TCM a few years back. I hope it makes it on the 2-disc afterall. Also a little surprised that WB didn't use the poster as the cover art like they frequently do.

Where's Scorsese on Scorsese?

That's be a phenomenal feature.

Hopefully, the deleted three-way will be in the deleted scenes.

This is the first "2 disc se tactic" from Warner that I will no doubt break down and buy.

Yeah, I noticed that it wasn't listed on the back cover shot.

Without the "Scorsese On Scorsese", I'm not too crazy about the extras.
