I've had this on laserdisc and dvd for years and have never watched it. It's one of those "epics" you feel obligated to own...

I'm not sure if I'll trade up. The last version was 2.35:1 anamorphic, 5.1 Dolby and included the Newsreel Shorts, photo montage, and Ben Kingsley Talks About Gandhi featurette. So the new stuff is:

When I heard Ghandi was going OOP I rushed out to buy a copy. Sigh...
One of these days I'll learn my lesson: The only reason a movie like Ghandi would go OOP is if they are planning a new release. |
