The top of my Christmas list is: The Twilight Zone: The Complete Definitive Collection. I'm hoping that a few family and/or friends will band together and get this one for me.

BTW, I never get DVDs for Christmas, but here's to wishful thinking.

I passed on the wooden box set, as it doesn't actually add anything to the individual season sets. I ordered this Friends boxset during the DDD's 20% off sale, and like it very much. This set makes it look like an actual "complete series boxset", instead of just the box that houses individual season boxes. I never purchased the individual season boxsets to begin with because I had other things on my list as well and just never really started, and glad I waited.

Same here. The new set looks great, but not worth buying again, IMO.

At the top of my list are SNL: Season 1 and The Simpsons: Season 9.

Great set! Still one of my favorites.

BTW, 24: S5 is probably tops on my list!

I got the LE box a year or so ago, so I'm not going to buy the new Friends set.

At the top of my Christmas list is the new SIX FEET UNDER set.

Originally I had the Ultimate Superman Collection on the top of my list, but now I think I'll wait until those replacement units are out on shelves, besides I'm not that big of a Superman fan to get this set right away.

As for what replaces Superman, it's the first two seasons of Battlestar Galactica (in three boxsets).

If you get that, there's no way you'll be disappointed this Christmas. That movie is incredible, as is the set itself. I blind-bought it when it first came out and the film blew me away when I watched it. The DVD is also incredibly elegant.

Volumes 3 & 4 of the James Bond Ultimate Collections! The first two sets were fantastic and I can't wait to complete the collection.

I just didn't like the show. I don't enjoy TV shows in general. There aren't any that I watch on a regular basis, except the Sopranos, Deadwood, The Wire, the first two weeks of American Idol seasons, History and Discovery channel type shows, certain cartoons, and sports.

As for what I would want for Christmas (Hey, MERRY CHRISTMAS everybody! And I don't care who I offended with that statement!), I guess the James Bond set 3 and set 2 of Voltron.

At the top of my list is not a dvd...but my third HDTV. I have the dvd buying, as usual, under control. I prefer nobody else buying me my films....it's just easier for me that way.

So me....at the top? A very sexy 65" 1080p.(add one new whitewater kayak)

I got that under control too.

As you can see...I'm really good to myself at Christmas.

It's pointless to wait and get free stuff?

The top of my own list is the Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection; and with it due to be cheap at Costco just before Christmas, I would hope the odds are good . . .

I had a couple of things at the top of my Christmas list. I know (for sure) that I'm getting Alias: The Complete Collection and the Extended Edition Gift Set of The Chronicles of Narnia. Not sure about what else, though. No other big ticket items, though.

However, if I told you to put on the 2nd disc of season 2, you wouldn't even know which one it was, because the new one isn't broken down into seasons, which is a serious negative, IMO.
