Buena Vista Home Entertainment has officially announced The Guardian which stars Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher. The disc will be available to own from the 23rd January, and should set you back around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include an audio commentary with director Andrew Davis and writer Ron L. Brinkerhoff, a Making Waves: The Making of The Guardian featurette, another featurette on the real-life coast guard swimmers, some deleted scenes, and an alternate ending with optional commentary.
