For $70.99, they can keep it. I'm waiting for DDD 20% sale (currently at $70.56 and with the sale it should be around $56). I had it from B+N (for around $54 with coupon), but when it came in the mail the tin was dented up and the last disc was a floater so I sent it back for a refund.

I sent the replacement discs on December the 19th and received my new discs in the mail today!
I live in Kentucky so that was quicker than I thought I would receive them!

For Canadians,
I called WB this morning and was told that the International request for the prepaid envelopes will be taking longer than the Domestic ones. The CS rep told me that WB Corporate (located in California) is in charge of sending out the envelopes and she told me that WB Canada does not have anything to do with the exchange program. I told her that I have been waiting almost a month for the envelopes to arrive but she said to wait two more weeks before calling them again if I don't get the envelopes. At least they have all of my information on their database. I'll wait to see if I get them or not.

I got my replacements yesterday. What's odd is I only sent in the "Superman III" disc but I got both that corrected version of that AND of disc 1. I'm not complaining, I was just surprised. The audio issue didn't bug me that much to send it in for replacement but I took the old one out of the box and put the corrected one in along with Supes III so now my set is complete.
Did anyone else only send in one disc but ended up getting both as well?

After seeing that it was listed "in stock" at Amazon.Com again, I ordered the Superman: Ultimate Edition set two days ago, on January 2nd. It arrived today, and alas, it has the two "bad" discs. (Or at least, it has the wrong "Superman III" disc... I don't know how to check disc one, since it only lists "English 5.1" and "English" as the two options. Does anyone know a definite way to determine if the disc has the correct 2.0 audio mix?)
But I called Warners, and they're going to send out the replacement envelopes. *sigh* I was hoping the fact that the set went AWOL on Amazon for a while meant that they had now received the "fixed" copies. That's why I waited to order it.

editted to add: That was quick. I just called, and was also told that corporate is handling the Canadian envelopes. I said I would call in a back in a week though, and I asked to check that I was still in the system, which I am.
If other Canadians phone, I wouldn't mind hearing back, too.

I received my set today (from Future Shop's site,) and I just opened it.
It's a really nice set, and it arrived in pretty good condition. I'm really anal about my DVDs, so I'm disappointed by the fact that the top left corner of my tin is dented. Besides that, everything else is in pretty good condition. Some of the discs have minor scratches that I could definitely live without, but they're few and far between, and they don't seem to be very serious. At least, I'm hoping they're not.
Right now, I'm considering sending it back for a replacement, but I don't know if a replacement will be in any better condition. It's already hard to come by.

I'm still waiting for my five posters though. I sent that out on November 29th. Hopefully they'll be here soon. To the poster who did receive his posters, they did come rolled in a tube, correct?
