Bump again.

The Monkees 12-01-06 02:07 AM

I will be participating again in a few days, I am in the middle of 24: Season 5 and want to get that done first, then full on with Christmas movies and TV shows. I just bought It's a Wonderful Life, so can't wait to watch that!

RobCA 12-01-06 02:53 AM

I just got to #50; have I mentioned how glad I am that TV shows count? ;) I've only watched 2 movies so far, and 48 episodes of various TV shows. :D

I'm just about at the halfway point now; I have another 50 or so to watch. I think 5 or 6 are movies, and the rest are TV shows and specials. At this rate though, I'll definitely run out of stuff to watch long before Christmas.

Rob

RobCA 12-01-06 02:58 AM

By the way, I watched Edward Scissorhands tonight. I couldn't decide if it qualified, so I left it off my list. But if it counts, I'll be happy to add it. ;)

Rob

Rob

Great job with hitting 50 all ready, there is still 22 days left...

Edward Scissorhands, I can't remember when that takes place. I think there's a scene where
Spoiler:
Vincent Price dies
and that takes place during Christmas, but I think that's the only scene, so it wouldn't count.

P.S. I'm back baby!

RobCA 12-03-06 04:46 PM

Actually, I don't think that particular scene you mentioned takes place during Christmas, but there are other scenes in the movie that do. When
Spoiler:
the neighbors start to turn on Edward, and no one shows up for Peg and her family's Christmas party
It's no biggie though, I won't count it.

P.S. Welcome back!

Rob

bumpity bump bump

LBCrazyFool 12-08-06 08:24 PM

I have only had time to watch tv shows, so these next 2 weeks I am going to try to knock out a lot of movies.

Bluelitespecial 12-08-06 11:50 PM

I think I will make it to thirty, there are way to many dvds I want to watch right now as well. I will post more in the next few days.

RobCA 12-09-06 12:44 AM

I only have three movies left (Batman Returns, Christmas Evil and The Ref) and about 15-20 TV show episodes. That should put me at just over 100.

Rob

The Monkees 12-09-06 03:12 PM

I thought of this too, but it won't count since it's only the end of the film. No one knows how long Rocky was training before the fight. So it's not going to count.

On another note, everyone is doing great. I see a lot of you are all ready WAY past 50, and some of you are approaching 100! I'll have to think about that and maybe next year raise it up to 75 or 100. I think I'll hit 50, but no way will I hit 100. Good job guys! ;)

grem458 12-12-06 03:37 PM

A couple of good holiday themed shows on tonight if you need to add to your list:

I am hoping to hit thirty, I have just been updating my previous post. Work has been very hectic so that has kept me from watching 50.

RobCA 12-15-06 02:46 PM

I just got to #100 :) but unfortunately, I won't be able to go much farther, I'm almost out of stuff to watch!

Rob

The Monkees 12-17-06 06:39 PM

Well I have hit the 50 mark!
