This movie had a very short run in the theaters and I missed it. But I will be picking this up, for sure!

Definite buy for me. I saw it twice and loved it both times. A great flick that definitely needs DTS because its loud and nasty!

I missed this one also when it was in theaters, but I heard it was a great mindless entertaining movie so I think I might give this a buy.

If this is on par with the two Transporter movies, it's a no-brainer blind buy for me, since I missed it's theatrical run as well.

UPDATE: After watching this, I have to say it was NOT on par with the Transporter movies. Glad I saw it for free before making that blind buy.

It is.

I just saw it last night and came searching here for a release date. Definitely picking this up when it hits HD DVD (there's a chance since I think Lionsgate is distributing it?)

I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up in a thread or in the review, but the box for Crank lists 2.35 while the film is actually shown about 1.85 on DVD and Blu-Ray.

LG is really sloppy with their specs.

What was it when it was in theaters? 2.35 or 1.85?

IMDB says 1.85. I know they're not always accurate, but seeing as this was shot on HD cams, I think the native AR on those is 16:9.

It didn't really looked cramped, so hopefully this is the OAR.
