I hope there will be some deleted scenes. I saw this theatrically and while I didn't hate it as much as some critics said, I did think it had its fair share of problems. Mostly it felt like a three hour movie trimmed into a two hour movie which left the film very convoluted and some parts practically incoherent.

I'll probably pick it up one of these days when it is cheaper. Even though it had some problems, it was still an okay movie. Plus, the cinematography in this flick was incredible. It should look great on DVD.

I agree, the editing I thought was one of the major flaws in the movie.

I didn't surprise in the least that the movie is making a speedy release on DVD given it's lacklustre BO performance.

This may be the fastest ever announcement of a flop film to DVD.

and the saddest part of it all, was that Columbia thought they had a Oscar worthy film, which they had hoped to released before Dec 25 of 2005... oh well...
