Let us know if you get shipping confirmation. It's still showing as not in stock as I noted the other day. Hopefully they'll get more in.

It had better ship in 6-11 days, or I'm going to be a little disappointed.

I ordered from Amazon and got the 6-11 day shipping estimate. Saw it at Best Buy this evening and snagged the last one for $44.99. I plan on leaving it sealed until I get some word from Amazon.

I just placed an order for Volume 10 through DVD Empire which still has it in stock. I was able to catch up on the previous nine volumes due to the last three DDD 20% sales and I was waiting for the next one to pick up Volume 10. Guess not now.

Gonna see if the new BB has one. Otherwise I think I'll go through Empire. I bet the hold up or eventual recall is a Sandy Frank issue. I think he had the rights to the Godzilla features at one time.

Ordered from Amazon on 10/28, got the 6-11 day shipping estimate but they now say they shipped on 10/29 (the free shipping option no less). Not bad.

No, not a Sandy Frank issue. Godzilla was not part of that, but I would bet the Godzilla film is the issue. Not sure who they licensed it from.

Good news. Maybe the stock was just low.

It now reads "This item is no longer available" over at DDD. Oh well, off to BB to see what I can find.

DVD Empire has gone to On Order status. I just picked it up via Best Prices/Google. Get it while you can. The supply is evaporating *fast*.

I grabbed MST3K 1, 3, and 10 from Overstock.Com. Price Matched with DVD Pacific's $30 and change price on 1 and 3. I'll grab the others I'm missing during DDD's sale.

Right on...thanks for the heads-up on this. I ordered #10 from Amazon last night....but I just found one copy at BB here in West Dead Moines, so I grabbed it and will now cancel my order. Man, I'm way behind on this series.

Well I already 1-7 and all the individual Episodes that were released [no movie unfortunately]. I Placed my order for MST3K Vol. 10 on Oct. 30th from Amazon.ca and got it this morning [Nov 1st] and it was with the free shipping so I'm guessing they have some in stock still.

No, not a Sandy Frank issue. Godzilla was not part of that, but I would bet the Godzilla film is the issue. Not sure who they licensed it from.
Yeah, I saw an article about this that couldn't explain why everyone (including reviewers here) thinks Sandy Frank distributed the Godzilla titles. Toho licensed the distribution rights through a number of American distributors over the years, but not one accountable instance through Mr. Frank. However my understanding is they were rather unhappy about the editing and dubbing and that's why it's taken so long to get quality releases in the US.

Anyways, I think they were still unhappy about the MST3K treatment it got and that was why everyone was surprised to see it released.

Question for those who ordered from BestPrices:

I placed my order on Oct. 30th and their website stated they had 134 left in stock.

I checked my order status today and it said this:
# Nov 1 -
Bestprices.com has sent the following message: "(Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection - Vol. 10) was placed on backorder on 2006-10-31."

Has yours shipped or did you get the same message?

Sandy Frank once handled some of the "GAMERA" films - that's probably where the confusion started. Two big green Japanese monsters starting with the letter "G".
