Why is NBC releasing Scrubs so far apart from the actual airings? Isn't the show on season 6 now? I've only watched Scrubs on DVD, so I've only seen 1-3. NBC is basically guaranteeing that I will never watch an aired episode of Scrubs, since there's no way for me to catch up to the aired episodes.

As far as I can tell, the cast/staff participation in audio commentaries may be the culprit (and IMO if that is the case - these seasons are WORTH the wait!). You can certainly watch it without seriously ruining previous seasons for yourself. Since this is likely to be the last season of the show due to Braff's departure, you should really consider watching it this season (also you should be able to catch up with the syndicated airings on Comedy Central).

TVShowsonDVD.com has received reports of problems with Disc 1 of Season 4, which Disney is saying they are rare. Anyone here had any problems? What happens and where are you located? I bought a copy in Boston and won't be playing it until I finish Season 3.

Disney is saying the erroneous discs are rare.

I second the notion of having yet to watch one single aired episode of Scrubs. I only have time to watch tv shows on my own schedule, and I don't have the funds to get a DVR, so watching them on DVD is about all I can do. Hell, I finally caught up with Lost (although that's a blessing and a curse... now I actually have to wait a week to see what happens next).

I'm scanning the first disc of my s4 set using Nero. It's 1.5% into the scan and already it's 9% bad so I guess I got one of those "rare" discs. Hrmph.

I will have mine in a few days and check disc 1 right away.

My Disc 1 will not even load on my player and Disc 3 was loose, scratched and looked like it had fingerprints on it. Way to go Disney!

Those of you with problems with Disc 1, where are you located? I'm wondering if I should even open my copy or just return it and wait for a later batch.

My first disc skips from episodes 4-8. I bought it at the Vacaville, CA Wal-mart. I even exchanged it tuesday evening (i bought it in the morning) and it had the same problems.

My disc one skips badly. I bought it from overstock, will I be better off returning it there or trying to contact the dvd maker?

According to TVShowsonDVD.com if you are having problems with the disc they say don't return it where you got it. Chances are the whole batch the store got will be faulty. Instead call the number that is on the disc. They will send you a replacement.

I bought from dvdempire and have watched the first seven eps of disc 1...<knock on wood>...

Mine came from DVD Empire also, but will not play at all. I called Buena Vista and they are sending me an address label to send my disc in.

Yeah, I did that too. They made me go through some Tech guy though who had me unplug my dvd player and weird crap like that.

CRAP!!! I also got one of the bad discs. I got my copy yesterday from Amazon and tried it out this morning. In the middle of episode 5 "Her Story", when Cox shuts the door in Elliot's face, the DVD freezes up. It doesn't start to play again until Chapter 3 of episode 6 but even then it starts to skip around. It doesn't start to play again normally until Episode 7.

I called up Buena Vista and they acted like they knew nothing about it. They kept asking what model of DVD player I have and how long did I have it. Also he asked how was I watching the disc. Was I using the play all feature or going episode by episode. I said play all so then he has try to go directly to the episode, which of course didn't work either. I then told them about what was posted on TVShowsonDVD.com and he said they have only had a few calls about the issue. After 20 minutes the guy finally says he will send a postage paid envelope and that I am to send the disc to them in a DVD case or a jewel case. And they will send me a replacement one.

Mine won't go back to the "Menu" after an episode airs. I've only watched the first two as of now, I'll update you more.

I got mine at Circuit City.

I've played the first 6 episodes so far form disc 1 without issue.... purchased from Amazon.

Got mine from Taget and I'm having a lot of trouble. It keeps on freezing on the second episode and my player starts making really odd, loud sounds. I'm going to call for a replacement disc today.

Has anyone watched the music video on disc 3? That is some funny stuff, nothing like some streamers to really spruce up a set.

I got done watching disc 1 of s4 last night and even thought Nero ScanDisc found "bad" parts on the disc, it played perfectly fine. I didn't even have so much as a hiccup on the screen.

I have watched most of disc 1 and I have not seen anything yet. PQ is a little grainy but that might be my tv.

I sure as hell hope I don't have problems with this set down the road.

I just got my label from them, the instructions say to return it with it's case. I dont really want to send in the entire set though. Did you get yours yet?
