From TVShowsonDVD.com: Fans hate to hear it, but let's face it: DVD sales of this sitcom haven't exactly been thrilling, and the big retail store chains aren't too keen about the idea continuing to stock it. Still, there ARE dedicated fans of the show who are very vocal about wanting to have it available to buy on disc. So rather than cancel the DVD sets, the studio has moved it over to their MOD program, to keep it alive for the most passionate fans! Toward that end, this coming Tuesday, October 7th, the Warner Archive is releasing The Middle - The Complete 5th Season on DVD. This manufacture on demand (MOD) title is priced at $29.95 SRP, and can be pre-ordered right away from the WBshop online studio store using the button link just below. Underneath that is the package art. WBshop will only ship to U.S. addresses, but no worries if you live outside the States, because Amazon.com ships globally, and they'll be carrying this title in the very near future!

Not surprised this has gone MOD. I'm just pleased it's getting a release at all!

That sucks- I was hoping they'd put this out on Blu-Ray. Though I watch very little TV, I've been catching reruns on a local station here which shows it in HD with NO screen clutter, and looks very good in addition to being enjoyable.
