I'll put my small, impish list on here.

10/7/06 - The Ring. I've seen this so many times but it still doesn't disappoint.
10/10/06 - Cry_Wolf A surprisingly un-bad movie. Transcends the usual teenage killer genre with above average use of humor. Too bad it's PG-13.

10/14 (7) Nightwatch- This was a horrible movie that I had to sit through today only because of this challenge. If it wasn't for this list I would of dumped this movie after the 1st half hour. I know this is one that I'll never put into my dvd player again. (8) The Wicker Man- Another strange flick that I truly didn't understand that well but I may try again to understand later on. Wasn't a great day for movie watching today. Better luck tomorrow.

The original or the remake? I watched the original, 1994 Nightwatch once, and it was ok. I've never seen the remake.

This is for Mechanicalman's question, it was the remake, Nightwatch made in 2004. I checked the box to answer your question. It was so bad that I had to write about it, and I don't usually do that.

Joe29,
I believe MechanicalMan was talking about the Danish film from 1994 that was later remade in 1997 with Ewan McGregor. You are talking about an entirely different film. The one you saw was not a remake and is a Russian film about vampires also known as Nochnoy Dozor.

ultimately entertaining movie)
3. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 2 (3 episodes)
4. A Nightmare on Elm Street: SE (nothing needs to be said about this classic in a souped up form!)
5. Sympathy for Lady Vengeance: Fade-to-Black/White Version (unbelieveable, funny, gripping, bloody, horrific experiences)
6. Slither(much better on a second helping. I saw it in theaters and thought it was merely ok. But, now on DVD much better. Definitely meant for the smaller medium.
7. Friday the 13th: Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan(it was on tv so why not)
8. Friday the 13th: Part IX: Jason Goes To Hell(just love the money shot at the end)
9. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre(this new Ultimate Edition's transfer is amazing)
10. A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge(not a good movie)
11. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Becoming Part I & II, Alice

My list so far, I missed a few days, and had to post pone a few planned films to watch. And I don't know how or if I could fit them all in next week. So I will probably be skipping a lot of films, but am still having fun.

I want to say that I offcially suck at the Horror movie challenge, I had planned on playing along, but I have only watched about 8 or 9 horror movies so far and I'm a huge horror movie fan too and I have hundreds of rare horror VHS and DVDs. Anyway, I picked up the first 8 Friday the 13th movies at Wal Mart for $4.88 each and plan on having a Friday The 13th marathon.

don't know if you know this or not but Subspecies 4 is a sequel both Vampire Journals and the original Subspecies trilogy. The vampire from Vampire Journals fights the bad vampire from Subspecies... or something like that, it's been about 10 years.
