I'm excited for it. I went to all 3 tours, so it will be nice to have one of them on disc. I had hoped for the summer outdoor tour to be recorded, but this will still be nice.

And All That Could Have Been still gets a lot of plays.

Good times, hopefully it won't be long before we get the Closure DVD as well, video goodness. I'm excited anyways.

Great news. Hopefully it actually is released in early '07. I'm starting to think TR is becoming industrial music's answer to Peter Gabriel as far as project releases are concerned.

I'm really looking forward to this, but nin fans should know not to get their hopes up too high. If/when it's in my hands I'll be happy, but I'm not thinking much about "early 2007."

Who could forget when 'And All That Could Have Been' got pushed back nearly a year?

Where the hell is Closure? I could've swore that Reznor said it'd be out this year.

Great news for current NiN fans, but I checked out after The Fragile. It just doesn't do it for me anymore.

Closure, however, I've been waiting for for years. It was supposed be out in 2004, I think, with the SACD version of The Downward Spiral.

Each NiN release is numbered as a Halo. It's just how you know you have all the main releases.

He's not Interscope.

Sweet with the summer footage. Closer, Help Me I'm in Hell, and Non Entity are soooo cool.

Do you think with the DVD release of Closure all the Marilyn Manson stuff will be blurred out just like Daisy (Manson's original guitarist) is on the VHS?

And do you think they will ever release the original Broken concept video (with the original versions of the videos seamed together) as a whole? It's the only VHS I have left now in my collection.

I doubt Manson would be blurred out because it's been so long since all that happened and the fans are aware of everything, and Trent knows how much fans want the dvd and how they know everything anyway, so I doubt it. But with his moods and grudges, you never know.

Trent has said for fans to just download the high quality Broken torrent that's floating around because it will never be officially released.

I found it and have to say that the quality isn't any better than my VHS and considering that it is a 4X4 box I would say just make sure your VHS copy doesn't get f-ed up. I would love for a NIN fan to put a copy through Final Cut or Adobe Premiere and clean it up a little and create a good DVD copy.

Would that be illegal, considering that Trent says it will never be released and that he is encouraging people to download it instead?

I seem to remember that someone made a painstaking effort to remaster the whole thing, and it was posted online and was pretty much dvd quality. I had it on my old computer, but didn't find it that interesting so I never looked for it after I got a new one. I'll try to find info about it though...

EDIT:

Here is info

Trent's fully aware of it and supports it and I'm sure there's discussion of that subject during the thread, but I don't feel like going through it all to find a quote.

Is there a way you can get me an invite code to download the torrent?

pinata242, I need your email address to send your invite, for some reason I can't use the pm feature (can anyone help with this?).

Emailed your code Shagrath.

I'm all out of invites for the day (you only get a limited number per day, and the number varies).

From now on I think we should handle this through email/pm (HINT: the people I've given invite codes to can now give them out as well). To everyone who gets in on this, please don't be lazy about sharing invites, and please keep seeding for awhile after you download, so everyone can enjoy the sado-masochism.
