Easter Eggs on the new Star Wars DVDs?
Someone mentioned that Title 15 (maybe 17) of the Return of the Jedi Disc 2 has a scene in front of Jabba's door. Any others?

On all three bonus DVDs there's a small clip from the movie on Title 17. If you don't know what I mean, stick your bonus disc in the computer and click on the titles in windows media player. Is this for thx calibration?

C'mon fellas./.. geeze...I can't walk into a store without seeing fifty different kinds of Star Wars Merchandise. Why should this board be any different?

Mod note: Please keep the posts focused on the posts of the other poster and NOT the poster themselves. If you have a particular problem w/ a post (or a thread in general) either don't open/post in it or use the report this post feature. WRT the number of threads on a particular subject w/ something as popular as SW it's likely to spike but I suspect it'll die off soon.

Does the THX Optimizer acknowledge proper anamorphic set-up but note that these particular film transfers are 4x3 letterbox?
I saw on the back cover of some "Fullscreen" movie release that it included the THX Optimizer as well- that's pretty funny. |

Optimizer is designed for properly setting up your TV and surround sound for the movie you are about to watch. It has little to do with the socio-political implications of a reformatted movie. |
I forget what title it was, (might have been King Arthur) but it was definitely a pan & scan version of a 2.35 movie. Even taking into account that you can still set your picture correctly to watch it, I doubt anyone who would choose to watch a pan & scan movie would know or care.

The clip they used for the Optimizer on "Die Hard 2" is a major spoiler, which would ruin the film for anyone who hadn't seen it before!
