If it's a horror movie, then yes.

I'll give it a shot. I still have the Dracula and Frankenstein Legacy sets unopened from last fall. Good chance to check them out. Doubt I'll make it to 100 though.

I have a feeling that the Masters of Horror series will come in handy for many of you.

Question: You mentioned "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", so I assume that other horror-ish movies are allowed to count too. Like Rocky Horror Picture Show, Beatlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc?

This is here to hold my place

I'll be surprised if I make it to 50 this year, but I want to surprise myself and I'll go for...60. stinking school.

Those should count. I don't understand why commentaries should count, though. Might as well count 5.1 and 2.0.

I'm going to play again. Not sure about winning this year, but I am pledging to watch none of the 223 that I watched last year

"It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is considered horror-ish???

I personally would not include it in my list as a horror movie but I guess to each his own. Since this is a competition for fun I figure each person kinda makes their own rules as they go along. But if it came in as a tie between someone who actually watched horror movies and someone who won because of a Charlie Brown cartoon, I would have to go with the former person as the winner.

My personal rules: It has to be a full length horror film (sci-fi horror, certain suspense/thrillers are included). The movie has to be intentionally scary and not a comedy with some "horror" elements (sorry Saturday the 14th or Scary Movie fans). It can be a horror movie that includes humor but that is not it's mainstay (such as Fright Night). I personally would not include Masters of Horror in my list because it is a TV show and they are not full-length films. I also don't consider a documentary or watching a film with a commentary to qualify for my list.

But again, these are rules for myself and I don't expect others to follow them. Some people included all kinds of crap in their list from last year but since I am technically competing with myself it doesn't matter in the end.

Okay I'm in, didn't participate last year but sounds like fun. I'm going to set a goal of 31 for myself (one a day surely I can hit that).
