Does anyone have any info about this set coming out? I know it has ZATOICHI MEETS YOJIMBO, INCIDENT AT BLOOD PASS, SAMURAI BANNERS, RED LION, and SAMURAI ASSASSIN. Is this a repackaging of single releases or.... ?

its the exact same animego disc packed in a box. Nothing diffrent at all.

Generally, very good. I already own three of the films AnimEigo will release in this box set: Zatoichi meets Yojimbo, Incident at Blood Pass and Samurai Assassin. .. and so far, I have to say for films produced 40 or so years ago, they look great! .. and the featurettes are informative and interesting. I've heard AnimEigo, albeit select, does a very good job at restoring these films and so far, I haven't been let down.

I'd like the box, but I'm not forking over the cake for the only last film that I need to own of the set which is Samurai Banners.

agreed, that they all look well. I own 4 of the 5 and animego has been pretty consistent on transfer quality...
