I believe this is the last one, correct? I hope for another lenticular cover.

I've been waiting for a ULTIMATE Collectioin of the entire series, hopefully that'll come after this set is released. Or at least a markdown in price for all the sets.

which was the name of the episiode or episodes where Lino-O has face each of his freinds and fight against them, to prove he's the leader.....or soemthing like that.

I also remember an episode where there were two aliens, one who looked friendly, and one who looked ugly, the friendly looking one turned out to be the jerk, and I thought it did a nice job of representing how we as a people can prejudge people before we even meet them.

Me too Cameron, I've passed on all of these so far, anyone think there is a realistic chance of a big set or just individuals...

I'll pick it up to complete my collection, although I must say I've been nothing but disappointed with Warner for their piss poor handling of this series. Masters of the Universe sets release at half the price and the a/v and extras are vastly superior.

That's the five episodes called "Lion-O's Annointment" spread out during the second half of the first season. They are -

Lion-O's Annointment First Day: Trial of Strength (against Panthro)
Lion-O's Annointment Second Day: Trial of Speed (against Cheetara)
Lion-O's Annointment Third Day: Trial of Cunning (against WilyKit and WilyKat
Lion-O's Annointment Fourth Day: Trial of Mind-Power (against Tigra)
Lion-O's Annointment Final Day: Trial of Evil (against Mumm-Ra. Unarmed!)

Of course, you will have guessed that Lion-O wins through, and proves himself worthy as Lord of the Thundercats and thus worthy to wear the crown and wield the Sword of Omens

Unfortunately I got these sets via mail order as I live in the UK, so my season one volume two doesn't have a lenticular cover, though the other two have. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the first set had a fixed disc that corrected the problem that left one episode with no background music on the English track.

But yes, it's obvious that Warner haven't gone back to the original elements to master these DVD's (a few episodes even have the "Closed Captions" caption).

But they are as good as I've seen them, and anyway, at least we have them.

As to price, DeepDiscount and Amazon had marked the first two sets down to $32 when I bought them, and I got both in the DD 20% sale on top.
