The Omen (2006) -- Due 10/17/06
 

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release the remake of The Omen on October 17th. The film, starring Liev Schreiber, Julia Stiles and Mia Farrow, arrives in separate anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen editions, each with Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Extras include an audio commentary with director John Moore, deleted & extended scenes, a never-before-seen alternate ending, behind-the-scenes featurettes and theatrical trailers. Retail will be $29.98.

Not for me. I loved the original from 1976 that was incredible even double dipped on the remaster. but i'll be skipping this release.

I've never seen any of the 'Omen' movies, but this one looked interesting (that could just be the Julia Stiles fan in me)... was it actually any good if you haven't seen the original?

It opened 6-6-06..why not just release the dvd on halloween???

Yay. Too bad the cover stinks.

The U.S. art is ok, but I would have gone with the international art as it leaves you feeling chilled (at least, me):
