for your emmy consideration dvds??
 

I was in gamestop today and found two dvds that had this writing on the box.


the 1st dvd..nbc universal has 6 discs of shows from 2005..leno,conan,will & grace etc

the 2nd dvd is of the west wing with 3 episodes on it.


I understand that these dvds at one time belonged to a emmy panlist/voter.


my ? is would these dvds be worth anything??

kinda funny that gamestop would not red flag this as a no no to sell to customers.

Some are worth something, but many are not... if you checkout ebay they usually have several hundred listings for these at any given times... I used to collect them myselves a few years ago and the DVDs or VHS's (most are VHS) run in value from $1 (The OC), to $10 (Six Feet Under) to $20 (Dawson's Creek)

If its a title thats not available on DVD yet, they can run upto $30. Before Veronica Mars was on DVD, the 2-3 episode Emmy DVD was getting $40 on ebay.

the nbc universal has 13 discs....i thought it was only 6

I found those two plus running scared in the 3 for $10 bin

i'll just sell the running scared for $10 and save the other two for shh & giggles.


btw.....I also found a rare copy of money train in the same bin last week!

I have TONS of these. My dad is a doorman in a building in Manhattan, and one of the tenants has something to do with the Emmys. I actually have a whole Law & Order box set that has the regular Law and Order, Criminal Intent, SVU and Trial by Jury

Some other ones I have are:

Gilmore Girls
CSI
The Office
Two and a Half Men
Third Watch
Pentagon Paper

and more....

I bought a few of these on ebay as a way to get some cheap movies. I bought an A&E set that had Z Channel, Slasher and a few others. I also got the Senfeld special that came out around the time the DVD's hit.
