Six Feet Under Season 5 Packaging

Anyone who owns this set knows that it's incredibly hard to get the discs out of their respective spots in the packaging. The only real way seems to be lightly trying to force/pry the DVD out, which I know is not something you should be doing. I'm just wondering if anyone is aware of an easier way to get them out, because I'm afraid of damaging my discs.

I also had the same problem with the center rings, I had to finess them out. I just finished the set last night.

The first two disc where easy, but for a second i was actually contemplating using a Que-tip to force the third disc out. But other than the hardness of the DVDs, this was a awesome package... I don't remember ever going "wow" when I was unfolding a digi-pack before... major props HBO...

Nevermind my being an idiot, but how does the cue-tip method work?

set the package on a desk/table and press the release buttong while holding a corner of the disc up, put the que-tip as far in as you can, and use it like a crowbar... you could use any lever, but a que-tip is prefered as it won't scratch the disc...
