howdy guys,


anybody know if a special/deluxe edition of Joel Coen's O Brother, Where Art Thou? is in the works?

I haven't heard anything about an SE myself, but the current version is pretty good already: anamorphic, DTS, several featurettes, and can be had fairly cheap I believe.

Love this movie. So many quirky characters and good lines. I have the current version. Will get the HD version when it arrives and I've upgraded equipment some day I'm sure.

yeah, the version out is already a Special Edition, especially in terms of a Coen Brothers disc. I doubt they'd be revisiting this one until HD.

I would be afraid of another version. I can see them getting rid of DTS. So the current is more than fine.

What a cool movie, and usually delightful performance from George Clooney, who I usually hate.

I actually like the current release as-is.
