Water damage

I know that there was similar to this a little while ago, but I cannot find it because searching is disabled.

I put one of my DVD cases down because I had to go somewhere for a minute, and when I got back, the insert was wet... How can I reduce water damage to the insert?

Thanks!

Where exactly are you putting your DVDs??? Maybe it's a regional thing, but I don't know how the insert would get wet...
