List of full bitrate DTS DVD's?

First, what is the difference between full bitrate and half bitrate DTS? How can you tell if a release is full or half?

And, is there a list of full bitrate DTS DVD's?

Full bitrate dts is encoded at 1536 kbps, as opposed to 768 kps which is on most DVDs with a dts track. Basically, a full bitrate dts track is uncompressed and is usually provides a fuller audio track for a better overall experience.

Here is a thread from dvdtherapy.com (and awesome site) that lists them all. Enjoy.

If you use the Advanced Criteria Search at Widescreen Review, you can specify full or half bit rate DTS. This works along with a thousand other cool criteria to search on.

That's not true. A full rate DTS track is still compressed. It's just less compressed than a half rate track.

So was the DTS on laserdiscs compressed? It's always said to have been full bit rate.
