Billy Wilder's The Apartment (1960). it's a friggin' Best Picture winner and sorely in need of a better DVD release.

Spies Like Us
Con Air
Enemy of the State
Crimson Tide
Scream
Armageddon (anamorphic)
Snake Eyes
Maltese Falcon
Double Indemnity

Someone mentioned "The Rock". The Criterion is pretty damn good of that one.

Extras are nice, but I just really want some of these movies anamorphically enhanced. Most of which has already been mentioned.

True Lies
The Game
Ransom
The Rocketeer
Enemy of the State/Crimson Tide (on its way)
Backdraft
The Color of Money
Cool Hand Luke

Sean Penn's The Assassination of Richard Nixon - I want to see a documentary on the real Sam Bicke (there was one on a Region 2, so I hear).

Why would this film need an SE? For commentary, or because the transfer currently stinks?

the ugly transfer is what i was getting at. i was going to say just more bonus features, but i forgot about the making-of featurette. hell, i think a criterion treatment is almost worthy.

Well, now that I have The Plot To Kill Nixon on order with The History Channel, they will probably re-release The Assassination of Richard Nixon with the short subject included as a bonus feature.

That's usually my luck.

Here are my votes...

Creepshow
Fright Night

Commando
True Lies

Weren't these rumored to be in the works a while back?

Poltergeist
We'll just have to keep on waiting, I guess.

Halloween II
Although the Halloween: 25 Years Of Terror DVD kind of makes up for the lack of an SE.

Scream
I was hoping for a 10th Anniversary Edition, but it never came.

The Breakfast Club
I like Sunday Morning's idea of having the cast do a video commentary in the same library. Is it still intact? I know the exterior of the school (formerly Maine North High School) is now a police station.

The American President - would love to see an Aaron Sorkin commentary or featurette on how this played into the development of The West Wing.

The Saint (Val Kilmer) - a director's cut by Phillip Noyce including the additional 45 minutes of story that originally ended the film, including the death of Elisabeth Shue's character. A commentary by Kilmer about the different disguises would be great as well.

The Ghost & The Darkness - including one of the documentaries available on VHS about the true story the film was based on.

It's an alright DVD, but I wouldn't call it loaded. It's got a commentary, an EPK type featurette and some interviews.
