Just a few:

Little Shop of Horrors
Blade Runner
Scream
Repulsion
Wings of Honneamise

Oshikuru 02-12-06 01:19 AM

As a rule, I don't double dip. But if they ever came out with the SE of these DVDs, I would break this rule pretty quick:

Blade Runner
The Rocketeer
True Lies
The Killer
Kill Bill Vol I & II

Poltergeist
Kill Bill:Whole Bloody Affair
Garden State
Ace Ventura:Pet Detective
Home Alone 1-2-3
True Lies
Twins
Kindergarden Cop
Commando
The Punisher(Both)
Halloween II
Scream(which is rumored to be coming for it's 10 Anniversary this year, hopefully the Uncut edition will appear, all the old extras plus new ones)
Dawn of the Dead(2004)-a better 2-Disc set please

And others I can't think of.

Mr. Cinema 02-12-06 04:41 PM

The '04 version of The Punisher already has 3 featurettes, deleted scenes, and audio commentary from the director. What else are they supposed to add?

Joe Molotov 02-12-06 04:50 PM

The
Road
Warrior

Mr. Cinema 02-14-06 09:45 AM

These don't have to be fully loaded SEs, but I'd love a new 16x9 transfer:

Face/Off
The Waterboy
Ransom
Halloween: H20
From Dusk til Dawn
Broken Arrow

I would request Armageddon and Braveheart, but both are scheduled for new format release.

Damed 02-14-06 09:49 AM

 My #1 want, and I normally don't bother with extras.

Digigeek06 02-20-06 04:39 AM

True Lies
Eraser
Commando

REL77 02-20-06 08:55 AM

I would cream my pants for 'The Game" SE as for "Kill Bill" and "Green Mile".... Damn thats a great movie...

OldBoy 02-20-06 04:11 PM

"Empire of the Sun" for Shagman.

lemieux66c 02-20-06 05:09 PM

I could definitely use a four disc for Braveheart. I mean if Kingdom of Heaven is getting one, Braveheart should be a no brainer.

A-freaking-men, brother.

Braveheart
Kill Bill: Whole Bloody Affair
Nosferatu (second the Criterion suggestion)
Blade Runner
THE MALTESE FALCON
Eyes Wide Shut
... and Mortal Kombat (guilty as sin pleasure) ;)

I thought someone said that a SE is supposed to come out but on dvdaf, it shows that theres a HD version only coming out....so deos that mean no SE?

onitapgr 02-20-06 10:10 PM

Dead Man Walking
Tommy
Jacob's Ladder
Mimic
2001: A Space Odyssey (all Kubricks actually)
LA Confidential

also I second:
The Game
The Arrival
Blade Runner

jimnysf 02-21-06 12:15 AM

"Hello, Dolly!" should have a bonus disc with all the screen tests and other documentary shorts that were filmed, some of which have been seen on AMC.

"Valley of the Dolls". What the heck is taking so long for Fox to release this in the USA?

"The Way We Were". Restore the subplot about the Communist hearings, a lot of that was cut after previews.

Dan1boy 02-21-06 01:24 PM

Almost everything others have mentioned (esp. The Game, True Lies etc.) but I hereby declare:

Grosse Pointe Blank (PLEEEEZE !!)
Scent of a Woman (hoo-hah)
Planes Trains and Automobiles

obscurelabel 02-21-06 02:39 PM

Not sure how much demand there would be, but I want Touch of Evil. There was a documentary that was supposed to be on the DVD but I believe Beatrice Welles blocked it; get the issues resolved and include it on the SE. Also with all of the different cuts of the film done (original, restored, "director's cut" that I know of) they need to have at least the latter two (I prefer the restored version over the more recent "director's cut") and ideally all three.

I don't know if anyone involved in the making of the film is available for a commentary (Dennis Weaver is the only one I can think of who is still with us) but someone should be able to do a good job. Bogdonavich can be insufferable but he was a close associate of Welles's and it seems as if the mainstay of his career now is doing DVD extras.

OK I'm finished now. Can you tell this is one of my favorite movies? :) Also: IT'S A UNIVERSAL (too bad!)

JIF 02-22-06 02:49 PM

I would like to see an anamorphic copy of Richard Gere’s BREATHLESS, and can’t wait for the rumored SUPERMAN II (Donner`s cut).

OldBoy 05-04-06 04:10 PM

i was just thinking how come there hasn't been a better release for:

"Primal Fear" ?????????

i mean the current one isn't even anamorphic for crying out loud!!!!!

so what's up with that?

lsher 05-04-06 04:55 PM

Risky Business needs a SE. The edition available now is horrible.
