Completed boxsets question
 

well im a completist (yea my gf hates me for it) but i wanted to know if these following shows/movies were "complete" (as in no longer being made).

Blade (i know theres a box with all 3)
Macgyver (theres a boxset with the first 5 seasons but i thot there were 7)
Batman (will there be a 4 movie release?)
Futurama (are they still making episodes?)
Family guy (i know they started to make more but not sure if its a long term thing)

Yea im weird i like "whole boxsets" like friends, godfather, lotr, matrix and such. Thanks for reading.

There was a 4 movie release, unless your number was off and you want Batman Begins in it. We probably won't see a set with that film until several years from now when the sequels are done. Even if they did release a box now, it wouldn't be complete without the coming sequels, now would it?

The Blade movie series is done. There is going to be a TV show on Spike TV.

Macgyver I don't know about.

There already is a 4 movie set of the Batman films. Batman Begins started a new movie series, that has nothing to do with the other four.

Futurama is done, but there is talk of making 4 direct to DVD movies starting next year. All four seasons are out on DVD. Fox might release a complete set, but nothing has been said or rumored about it. They have only done one set like that, and that was for Buffy. Angel is rumored to come in a complete set, and their is talk (not confirmed) of X-Files coming in a complete set (if it does it might be a year or two).

Family Guy is still going strong on Fox. If you want the DVD's go ahead and pick them up. If you are waiting for a complete box, then you will be waiting for a very long time.

woo hoo thanks for the input......well time to find blade......(oops i didnt know the new batman begins started a new movie series)......bleh im not sure if i should buy futurama and then buy the 4 direct to dvd movies or wait for a set.....and yea i figured family guy would be a long wait......

The other seasons of McGuyver are planned to come out relatively quickly. check it out over at TVshowsOndvd.com for news about the release dates. I believe all but the 7th season has a planned release date/time.

Yeah, Paramount has been quick with releasing their more recent catalog TV sets. We got all five Brady Bunch seasons in about a year. :up:
