When will Disney release a Hi Def version of Snow White?
 

When will Disney release a Hi Definition DVD of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs in the manner of Warner Bros's Hi Def Wizard Of Oz?

First off, the Wizard of Oz isn't HD exactly, its taken from an HD Master. With next months coming of HD-DVD Players its important to note the difference. Snow White may be released again on dvd in the next 2-3 years (though NOT in 2006). At that time a further restoration could be done and an HD disc could also be available. However, the bottom line is that the out of print Platinum Edition Disney 2 dvd set of Snow White that is now out of print is a fantastic version of Snow White with the best video quality ever available for the title.
