What is the difference between the two?

The Directors Cut is a couple minutes shorter than the theatrical version. The lifted scenes can be viewed in the deleted scenes secton on the directors cut dvd.

Theatrical verison is fullscreen only, Director's cut is widescreen only, thats all you need to knpw

..and the DC is a two disk set.

I bought this used and didn't even think to look at the aspect ratio until now. Of course, it's the theatrical cut and fullscreen. Looks like I'll be trading this one back in soon.

I'd agree with joshtown. One of the worst releases in recent memory.

That being said...I had to go for the 2 disk edition and the widescreen.
