Saturday the 14th????
Saturday the 14th was supposed to be released today and as far as I can tell has been pulled...Amazon has pulled it and I called a few local stores and no one seems to have an answer for me....Anyone here have a clue what happened to the release today??? I just want to know if it has been delayed or do I need to try and get a copy of the older release from Ebay (and spend a lot more money because it is OOP)...Thanks for your time and any information would be greatly appreciated....

God I loved this show when I was a kid. I taped it off HBO in the early 80's and watched it about 100 times.
I had no idea it was ever released on DVD. |
I rented this from Netflix just a couple of weeks ago.
Like DeputyDave, I loved this movie when I was growing up! But after watching it again, all I can say is that it hasn't aged well at all. By the way, it's still available for rent at Netflix. |
I love this movie. I consider myself lucky that I was able to find a copy of the previous release on dvd.

Disney didn't buy Corman's library, they are just releasing a few films for him. Now that Disney no longer has Dimension, they are sort of using Cormans catalogue as a genre library. Odd move, as Disney won't release the unrated versions of many.

Yes, Disney has the rights to distribute the films, but they don't own the catalogue, as was said earlier. Corman still owns the films.

Anyone have any word on this rerelease as it was due out Febuary 7th?? Or should I just pony up the dough and buy an OOP version off of Ebay???
