The Complete Little Rascals Box Sets?
Now that I have completed my vintage Twilight Zone DVD collection, I'm curious to know if anyone has heard plans on a complete box set of the Little Rascals?
Yes, I know that there are DVDs that feature 2 or 3 episodes each, but wouldn't it be nice to have similar box sets of the Rascals? |
I have never heard anything about a complete set. The 2-3 episode DVD's are not worth my attention as this is a series that I would want to own in it's entirety.
I have seriously considered taking the time to convert all of my Cabin Fever video tapes to DVD with custom menus and shuch for my own use but I haven't done so yet (there are 25 tapes, I believe, with 4 episodes each). |
hallmark finally put out a volume 3....
and canada had a real nice set a few years back.... someone can probably give you the best way to get what is available, but from what I understand Lionsgate is now the soul owner of the catalog. |
and before anyone mentions it, Bill Cosby did NOT buy the rights to "The Little Rascals" in order to supress them from release. He has never owned the rights.

The best way to get a lot of them that I know of is the 6-disc Remastered and Unedited box set from Cabin Fever, hosted by Leonard Maltin. I actually got mine for $20 from Graveyard Mall, but they didn't come with the box. I *believe* that these would encompass the first 12 video tapes from Cabin Fever, but I may be mistaken.

Blackhawk Films supposedly released all existing shorts on VHS back in the day. I never saw any myself in any store though. Supposedly only 5 minutes or so exists of the first short.
Be careful buying the Cabin Fever/Hallmark discs. Some aren't legit. |
