Yes I am. I trying to get the complete filmo of

Verhoeven
Tarantino
Fritz Lang
Henri G Clouzot
Steve McQueen
Elia Kazan
Lars Von Trier
Sergio Leone
JP Melville
Cronenberg
...

It's getting easier now as we get more titles and cheaper products

Sometimes I'm a completist in a bad way. Like, I got the Puppet Master box set from Full Moon when it was suddenly available again last year or whenever that was, and I actually blind bought the ones not in the set which were Puppet Master Legacy (which from what I hear is mostly flashbacks to the other movies) and Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys, which I've heard pretty much nothing good about.

Yes I'm a completist!

I have just finshed completing the X files series.

I still need to buy these to compete my collection

Stargate-SG 1 Season 8
Babylon 5 1-5
Star Trek
The Simpsons - Season 6 and Season 7

I have a mild form of OCD! Instead of being a completist, I don't buy things that would require sequels I don't want. Like, I would LOOOVE to buy Malcolm in the Middle S1...The rest of the seasons will probably never come out and even if they do, it started to get bad near the end....so I just won't buy it in the first place...

Paul Newman completist here.

I have every single one of his movies (even the ones I really hate) on either VHS or DVD. Hence I am looking forward to replacing my crap VHS versions with the box set to be released by Warners.

But once I start collecting a movie series on DVD, I have to collect the whole thing or it isnt worth it.

What the hell are you exactly researching here?

Oh, I'm a completeist as far as these directors go:

Bunuel
Kurosawa
Scorsese
Altman
Lang

I think it's less research of the publish-in-a-journal variety and more of the hand-down-the-pants variety. :)
