Gomer Pyle DVD Info?
 

Initialy, the Gomer Pyle DVD set was supposed to be released in late January 2006 according to Sitcomsonline.com. But I haven't heard anything in months. Does anyone have any info at all on this possible DVD release?

It, like many other Paramount DVDs, have had their schedules re-arranged. There was a change of management and of organizational structure recently, and release schedules got shuffled. There may be other things that impacted individual titles as well. For instance, Mission: Impossible (a Paramount/CBS item as well) was also supposed to be released in the first half of the year, but got pushed back because all the legal clearances had not been accomplished yet. Something similar may have happened with Gomer.

Welcome to the forum, by the way. Just a bit of advice: the way your message subject reads ("Gomer Pyle DVD Info") makes it sound like you HAVE info, not that you are ASKING for info. If you threw a question mark at the end of that, then folks coming along behind you won't be confused. Right now I bet there are folks seeing the subject and getting excited, thinking that you know when it's coming out, or what will be on it. :)
