Re: What Are You STILL Waiting For?!?!
TV Series
- Big Wolf on Campus: Cheesy Canadian comedy horror series, like a low-budget Buffy the Vampire Slayer merged with Saved by the Bell. Amusing as hell though. I'd gladly purchase the complete series.
- Tales of the Gold Monkey: I bought my brother a b00tleg for his birthday a few years ago. It was very difficult for me to watch though because the quality was sub-VHS. Still waiting for DVD.
- 100 Centre Street: It was an okay show, but my Dad had a recurring role as an extra--and loved the show. I'd buy it to watch in his memory.
- Brimstone: I've resisted buying a b00tleg many, many times. Where is it FOX?!?
- Hooperman: I fondly remember this cop-comedy show with John Ritter. I doubt it ever gets released though.
- Maximum Bob: Quirky, unique, based on an Elmore Leonard novel, and doomed to fail after only seven episodes.
- FreakyLinks: I've never seen it, but always wanted to. Sounds like my kind of show. I'd buy sight unseen.
- G vs. E (aka Good versus Evil): Ditto.
Movies
- Under the Rainbow: I watched it a couple of years ago, and many of the jokes fall flat. But the premise is so unique that I'd definitely want to revisit every couple of years. I'm not alone, based on other requests in this thread.
- Night of the Creeps: Mentioned many times in this thread, it's finally coming October 2009. Sweet!
- Highway to Hell: Goofy? Yes. Cheesy? Yes. Entertaining? Absolutely. Even with the dubious acting skills of Chad Lowe and a swiss-cheese plot, it's a fun time. Since I think I'm the only one in the world who would buy it, it'll never be on DVD...
Not Available in OAR in Any Region
- Just One of the Guys
- Can't Buy Me Love
- Real Men
- Twins
Also, I don't understand why so many people in the US are adverse to importing non-R1 titles. Region-free players are so inexpensive and commonplace nowadays, it's a no-brainer to buy DVDs from other regions. For example, many people have mentioned waiting on an anamorphic version of True Lies. I've had my German R2 version for quite some time now--and it wasn't expensive at all. Yes, PAL speedup can be slighly annoying sometimes, but I'd rather have an anamorphic version of the film. And for those films not available on R1 DVD in any form, why not simply import? Makes no sense to me...

Re: What Are You STILL Waiting For?!?!
I think you can count on the Angry Beavers coming soon to Amazon...however I am just speculating.
And in the early days of Demonoid, there was a user who posted this amazing bootleg he found in I think Canada. I have had a copy for years now and it is pretty good. But I would love to have MTV release that and The Head...now that would be cool.
