Isn't this exactly the same as the previous version? The extras all sound the same.

I was wondering about that too but if it is true, that is a worthless release but I haven't picked it up yet though....

The old release was only DD2.0, new release has DD5.1 audio.

Lame title, I was hoping for "Fried Green Tomatoes: I'm Older and I Have More Insurance Edition."

06-06-06, hummmm, what does this tell you..... Yep, you guessed it! Attack of the Killer Fried Green Tomatoes!

I watched the UK DVD last week and it's strange that it's called Fried Green Tomatoes at The Whistle Stop Café.

I think I like that name more.

I prefer the longer title too. Fried Green Tomatoes sounds liek a bad horror movie to me.

It's the title of the book on which the film is based. Written by none other than Match Game stalwart Fannie Flagg.

oops ... "Fannie" isn't a very polite name in the UK, is it?

Fannie Flagg was on 'Match Game' last nite and was plugging the shit out of this ...

:)
