Hanna Barbera in 2006?

The only concrete thing that I have heard is The Flintstones season 5 coming in March.Plus a rumor about Quick Draw McGraw from tvshowsondvd.com.I hope they get around to Space Ghost,Birdman and The Herculoids in the near future.

I'll definetly be one those herculoids boxsets, and maybe spaceghost and birdman.
right now I'm still satisfied with the complete jonny quest series, which is getting down in price.

So far we know about:
  • Flintstones - Season 5 (3/7/06)
  • Hong Kong Phooey
  • Quick Draw McGraw
  • Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour (3/7/06)
  • Wally Gator

I'm 100% sure of all titles on that list..."rumor" IS the official term for now, until announcements get made, but I have zero doubts about them.

I hope they don't use the masters from Boomerang for Wally Gator-those aren't even watchable. You would of thought that WB could of released The Fantastic Four(1967-animated)when the movie was released.

Is that Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour the remainder of the "original" Scooby episodes? If so that would be freakin' awesome! I've been waiting a couple of years now for the rest of those to come out.

Isn't there a second season to Huckleberry Hound? Wonder if it's coming. Was Wally the "coolest" or swinginest" alligator in the swamp? Haven't seen Wally in around 40 years.

I'm pretty sure Scooby-Doo still has a bunch of releases left. From a quick glance at TV.com, it seems we still have:
    • 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo
    • The Scooby, Scrappy and Yabba Doo Show
    • The All-New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show
    • Scooby and Scrappy-Doo
    • Scooby's All Star Laff-A-Lympics
    • The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries

However, I don't know how many of those series overlap or are called something different altogether. For instance, TV.com doesn't even list The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour as a seperate show.

Wally Gator had 52 episodes, so I suppose we'll have to see another set of that cartoon to see its entire run. I can't imagine they'd release a complete series set with such a massive runtime.

Warner also still owes us the remainder of the Jetsons... so far they've only released season one of three.

Also, I thought I heard some rumblings of Josie and the Pussycats being released this year.

The original Jonny Quest lasted only one season(same as The Jetson's).I don't know if there is a demand for the remakes.

They released the Best of the New Scooby Doo Movies, the series that was right after Scooby Doo, Where Are You? and had a similar format except episodes were an hour long and each had a celebrity guest (either real celebs animated like Don Knotts or cartoon guests like Batman and Robin). The only thing that kind of sucked about that release is that it only contained 15 of the 24 episodes, which, according to it's Wikiepdia entry, was because they couldn't negotiate agreements with some of the guest stars.

They need to release The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo starring my favorite actor Vincent Price.

Also are there anymore Scooby Doo, Where Are You? seasons left or were there only 2?

    Nope, just those 2.
For lots of Scooby info, check the Wikipedia entry which has links to all of the different Scooby series.

I'd like them to release The Hercuoids and the 1970s Godzilla.

Along with Flintstones - Season 5, Hong Kong Phooey, Quick Draw McGraw,
Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour, Wally Gator.... we may also get the second part of Huckleberry Hound because HB has been good about with the Flintstones sets to get a whole serious out rather quickly.

Here's hoping for a Gloop and Gleep running commentary track-that would rule.

I hope with the recent releases of A Pup Named Scooby Doo that they release that in a box set!

Bad news for QDM and WG. HKP should still be okay, though.

Wasn't Josie & the Pussycats Hanna Barbera?

If so, I'd like to see this make it to DVD

Josie was indeed Hanna Barbera, but based on characters owned by Archie Comics. So until DVD licensing gets worked out between Warner/HB and Archie, we're stuck in a holding pattern!
