Straight to DVD (or video) Sequels?
 

I'm trying to think of some of the recent movies I've read about that have straight to DVD sequels, but all I can think of "Species III."

Can anybody out there fill in the blanks for me? I'm trying to send my brother a list (for a dumb but amusing joke) and totally spacing.

Most of Disney's recent releases are just that.

Universal Soldier had a direct-to-video sequel with Gary Busey, but then there was a theatrical release of another Universal Soldier 2 with Van Damme, Michael Jai White, and Goldberg.

If I recall correctly, every Disney sequel with the exception of Toy Story 2 is direct to video, and the original plan was to release that one straight to video as well.

Beyond Re-Animator is ok. Darkman II doesn't suck.

I think I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed Starship Troopers 2 and Beyond Re-Animator

Starship troopers 2 was ok but i couldn't get over the light up guns

Wasn't part 3 straight to video as well. I don't remember that one being in theaters.
