Anyone famliar with Behind the Lines/Regeneration (1997 Film about WWI)?

This seems to be a relatively obscure film, as a few searches yielded no good results.

Well, the film is based on Pat Barker's novel, Regeneration. It retained that title elsewhere in the world, but in the U.S. it was called Behind the Lines. It's a fantastic film about World War I, but not many shots are actually in the battles, it's mostly in the minds of men. It's also about several famous war poets from the era (Owen, Sassoon)

My question is this: is the US version different, or does it merely have a different title? From sites I have read, the U.S. dvd is 94 minutes long, but on IMDB it lists Regeneration as being 114 minutes long. Is the US version cut? Being an obscure film, it's extremely difficult to get good information on this particular title.

If anyone knows, please tell me, it's an incredible film (just saw it this morning), but if I purchase it, I don't want to be jipped when there is a longer version available that was closer to the director's original intent.

Regeneration

it has a running time of 109min which when you incorporate PAL speedup would round it up to around 114min (give or take a couple of minutes)

I saw this in 1997 when I was in London, and I assume it's the version that is on this DVD, and I agree it's an excellent movie.
