Has anyone who has had the skipping or freezing problem been able to return their Flash set yet for a working one ? I need to return mine in the next week or two unless something is settled because of the 30 day return policy.

No problems on my GoVideo (Multi-Region Available) or older Sony (DVD/VHS combo).

UPDATE:
Went back to Best Buy yesterday and they let me exchange just the defective disc 1, didn't need to exchange the whole set.

As I predicted weeks ago, the replacement disc is...ALSO DEFECTIVE!!! Same problem, same place.

I can't spare the time to hang out in Best Buy opening every box and checking them in-store and hope I get lucky. Now I begin pestering Warner Home Video in hopes they will have some kind of mail-in exchange.

I went to Best Buy today and exchanged my Flash Set. The new one I got actually worked.........it did not have the pack in comic book so I'm guessing its a new batch. It looks like I just got lucky though.

GOT A GOOD COPY!~same as above, after hearing some got non-defective discs from best buy (in a non-comic package), I decided to try a 3rd exchange. Works great all the way through the pilot and back to menu.
Looks like only the first pressing run of these was bad, but later ones are ok. Try exchanging at best buy (keep your comic book folks) and get a new one without the comic (no sticker on it), and see if works........I hate waiting for a recall with all the hoops to jump through. Already waiting on a thundercats S1V1d1 and a stargate "threads" full version replacement. (I lucked out on my he-man set, and didnt get a scratched set.......)
This is happening way to often...........Heard also that problems wih content on the stargate atlantis S1 set and the adventures superman sets, as well.....................getting to the point you need to watch everything as soon as you buy it to QA test for them. Sheeesh.

I have a new theory...

These defective sets are obviously the work of...THE TRICKSTER!!!!
He's having his final revenge on the Flash because...

I got my on release day, from Best Buy, and had no problem with it.

UPDATE!!

Over on Home Theater Forum, some people mentioned they had already received their replacement discs. Since it has been nearly four months since I requested my replacement, I called them again this morning to see if they had forgotten about me. I got a very nice rep who looked up my info and told me that mine had shipped last week, so I should be getting it soon.

Went to the mailbox this afternoon...and THERE IT WAS!!! AND IT WORKS!!!
(Maybe they had Barry Allen run it over after I hung up.) Finally, I can watch the last 2 minutes of the pilot episode!

Just to be clear, in case anyone is confused: Even though the enclosed letter (dated January 30) indicates that they were just sending an envelope for me to return the defective disc, and my replacement would be sent later, today's package INCLUDED the replacement disc. Why they still want the defective disc back, I don't know.

But...

Even though the pilot plays all the way through now, there's still something balky about that disc, or my player. I still have trouble trying to fast-forward or fast-rewind, or chapter skip forward or back during the pilot. It's weird, and it's only during the pilot. I've never had any problems with any other discs. Whatever. At least I can enjoy it at normal speed.

i requested mine right after it was announced on tvshowsondvd, then never got anything from Warner. called them back a couple weeks ago, and they said they have my info (i guess from a previous disc swap for Thundercats), but nothing for the Flash replacement. the nice lady said she'd put my name down in the list of those to be shipped in the next batch (but will take a while, since they have to amass a certain number before shipping out bulk).
