The year is coming to an end.... how many people actually kept up with their list?

I did. I'm typically anal about that type of thing though.

I managed to keep up with my list and I definitely spent less this year then last. Seeing the total growing week after week seemed to help me keep my spending down (at least a little bit).

I kept up with mine...it's on the first page and with 5 days to go, I can say I will probably finish out the year with it being accurate unlike last year when I quit about two months in

I've kept up with mine as well, and while I bought way more than I thought I would, at least I didn't buy as much as last year.

Well.... then again, I only kept track of titles purchased last year, not cost. This year with all the multi-season sets that I bought you could probably count the individual seasons as titles and it'd be much higher. Just the ones off the top of my head are insanely large - M*A*S*H (12 titles) Homicide (7 titles), Buffy (7 titles), West Wing (7 titles), Alias (5 titles), Six Feet Under (5 titles). That right there would take what counts as 6 titles on my list and turn them into 43.

I have kept up with mine, I might not do it next year, because it freaks me out a little, but this is my caount so far, I probably won't buy much more this year, so this may be final...

2006 total: $1737.67 for 182 titles (102 dvds, 26 Criterion, and 50 box sets) ($9.54 each).

(I just realized the total dvds doesnt add up, i must have not put 4 in at one point, but no way Im going back through it...)

I am not going to buy any DVDs this weekend, and I am not counting the 10 I got for Chistmas presents, so I am done with buying DVDs this year.

Always keep track of my purchases in DVDProfiler. I'm not going to post all the titles, since it flows for pages, but here's the totals. It does include gifts (and I counted them as $0.00 spent).

well i didn't get a chance to do this year but starting on jan.2 when i pick up the 1st dvd of 07 i am going to record it all.
its intresting to see how much people spend on dvds through that sounds silly it not.
