Bad/Corrupt Lieutenant Harvey Keitel same movie?

Just picked up Corrupt Lieutenant on DVD and was wondering if it was the same as Bad Lieutenant ( i cant tell because Ive only seen the movie once a long time ago)

No. It's an Italian film from 1983, retitled to capitalize on Bad Lieutenant's recognition.

I hadn't heard that Corrupt (a.k.a. Order of Death) was retitled to confuse; if so, it's a despicable move. However, it is a good film.
