I loved this show - never knew there were only 65 episodes produced.

The last episode of the series was surprisingly dramatic and sad. Good to see this and other TGIF series coming to DVD.

That is good news. I'll pick these up.

The entire series was pretty much a play on big industry but the last episode was not something you would expect from a show primarily viewed by children.

Wow, I honestly thought it will NEVER get released! I never saw the final episode, I hope it sells well, how many seasons was there? I am picking it up!

My best friend and I still believe that the series finale of Dinosaurs is probably one of the better television finales ever produced. A very downbeat episode for something known as a comedy meant for families.

This is one of those shows that I think about every so often, and would like to be able to watch again.

According to epguides.com, the show had 4 seasons - the first of which was only 5 episodes, so if they're releasing season sets I assume they'll release seasons 1 & 2 (29 episodes) together.

This is such a coincidence - This week's Toronto Star newspaper TV guide "Starweek" mentioned this show, specifically whether it would be on DVD or not.

Can't wait.

My mother is excited about this. Hopefully this will motivate her enough to learn how to work a dvd player. :)

65 eps produced, 7 were not aired until syndication, though.

The closest thing they have to a date right now is "sometime in 2006" and "maybe the second quarter" and that's just from "industry sources." If the "second quarter" rumor is accurate, it will be officially announced in about a month.

I'd be curious to know how accurate the "industry sources" that this info came from have been in the past before.... because now that I read the article, there should be a BIIIIIIG "maybe" in the title of this thread.

WOW! Finally, this is one of the television shows that I catch myself wishing to come to DVD most. I will get all of these release day. Now we just need Bobby's World and Rocko's Modern Life. Well of course there are more.

Wooohooooo!! I was a huge fan of this show growing up and I've been anticipating a release for a long time. I have some of the Dinosaur's action figures on my DVD shelf.. and I just picked up a sealed Earl figure in a bargain bin at a horror convention in the summer for a buck.. now I'll HAPPILY add one of my favorite titles from my childhood to my collection! Hopefully they don't release the individual seasons and then make plans to release the complete collection ala Ren & Stimpy..

I'm thinking this one will be better left to my memory...

I never reallly expected this to go to dvd. Yep, I'll pick it up if and when it comes out. :D

I'll pass on this one. I liked it when I was little, but I don't think I'd watch more than a few episodes now...and I sure as heck wouldn't watch the set more than once.
