New releases of the X-Files seasons coming?

Just looked on BestBuy.com where they have some X-Files seasons being released on 1/31/2006 for about $40 a piece.

Not sure if this is correct or not. I hope so though, since I'm just getting into the X-Files and after looking around, the season sets out now are expensive. $40 per season is alot nicer.

Any confirmation on this?

Yeah, i believe they are all being rereleased at this lower price. Does anyone know if they are keeping the same packaging as the existing releases ? I only own season 1 and would like to pick up the rest now :)

These are going to be in slimline cases, but otherwise the same.

Good news.:D

I'm glad I found this out before I started picking up the current sets.

Never got around to picking these up. Glad I waited.

Hmm, tempting but I think I wait and hope they jump on BR bandwagon fairly quickly.

This is what I've been debating...and probably will for most releases this next yr.

Will studios release on BR complete series sets (for those that've been completed on DVD) at once, or will they do it one season at a time?

I think I will get these, I am only planning to get 1-5, and I figure when/if I trade them in, I'm basically paying $20 to watch them now instead of waiting for who knows how long.
