2 for me. If it didn't come out so close to XMas, I probably would have picked up a few more for gifts.

0 ... so far. Waiting to see if I get this as a Christmas gift. Otherwise, might pick this up on boxing day, when (hopefully) there are some decent discounts. Me likey the foil embossed cover though.

None. I'm not sure if I'll buy it, or just rent it. I'm only a moderate fan of the show, although the movie did look fairly good.

1 but Amazon seems to be holding on to it (it's been in "preparing to ship" mode since last week even though I paid for shipping as opposed to the free shipping ) .

Once we're done with this thread, here's ideas for some others:

"Which DVDs don't you own?"
"How many inserts do you own?"
"How many children have you slaughtered?"

i need this dvd to sell as many copies as possible, to extend the chances of having more of this series. i'm also doing my part by giving the movie to people to help get more fans and word of mouth!

Good luck with that.

In a recent issue of Entertainment Weekly, Whedon says he's through with Serenity/Firefly for good now and is moving on.
