Simpsons Season 8?
 

This may be a little premature, but is there any news on a release date for season 8?

season 7 isnt even out for a week and your allready looking for season 8? judging by the previous records, some time in the 2nd quarter of 2006

The sets are typically about six months apart, I believe.

When Season 6 hit the stores, Season 7 news/release date was out.

jl22, sorry about the "warm" welcome you're receiving. Hopefully season 8 will be out within six months because that seems to be the timeframe they're shooting for between seasons now.

I remembered reading somewhere that Fox was trying to speed up the production of these sets for a "spring," "summer," and "Holiday" release each year... so I guessing around april/may... but who knows really until something is announced.

I was hoping they'd get three out this yr, since they supposedly know what they're doing now for 8, 9 and 10's packaging. (heads and boxes)

Also 7 was released only four months after 6.

My guess is sometime late July.
